SIGN UPThe Context
AI and GenAI are disruptive technologies that are affecting talent and workforces across all sectors. To future-proof retail sector workers, it is imperative to develop AI skills to enable economic mobility and resilience.
About The Program
AI Powered Futures is a first-of-its-kind pilot program designed to transform how retail and retail-adjacent workers prepare for the future of work across Canada. By harnessing AI-driven education, employer-recognized microcredentials, and mentorship, the program ensures participants are learning the most relevant, in-demand skills for an AI-driven economy. Guided by industry leaders through an AI Advisory Committee, the program adapts in real time to reflect the pace of technological change.
Through this innovative model, 50 pilot participants will first take a foundational AI curriculum and then advance to specialized employer-recognized microcredentials from The Chang School at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Along the way they will gain mentorship, build professional networks, and access pathways to higher-paying, future ready careers.

- Employer Value: Curv microcredentials backed by The Chang School at TMU ensure that new skills are both trusted and immediately applicable.
